Happy Thursday all! We are just smitten by this rustic backyard wedding taking place at the Danada House in Wheaton, Illinois. Brent and Annamarie celebrated their big day with floral hues, lace and a gorgeous backyard venue. The soft natural colors go perfectly with each of the other special aspects of the couples’ big day. This outdoor wedding is ideal for springtime. We hope you enjoy this inspiration as much as we do.
From the Bride…
We wanted to bring the outside in! We decided on a garden party theme for that reason. Brent collected and organized all of our centerpieces, quite the task for 25 tables and 7-10 items per table. We visited garage sales and resale shops for months to collect everything. He also hand-made our table numbers. I didn’t want to choose wedding colors per se, so instead we just went with a floral theme, with blush to compliment my dress, blues to compliment the men’s suits, ivories, and lots of greenery. Around my bouquet was the lace cuff from my mother’s wedding dress, and my grandmother’s wedding day pearls. I also had my family’s dog come and visit for a few pictures! The day went perfectly and it was captured so beautifully by our photographer Ashley Dru!
