Water’s Edge Engagement | tPoz Photography

Oh sweet love, Lindsay and Lucas’s Engagement Session will sweep you off your feet! We absolutely adore the Bayside views and romantic moments captured by Teri of tPoz Photography . We’ll let Teri share a few words –

“Wanting to see where these two would be getting married, and squeezing in an engagement session, definitely worked to our benefit! We lucked out with some amazing light, and the temperature was just perfect!! The grounds of the Marshy Point Nursery are amazeballs, with a pier, a beach, and beautiful gardens! We took a bit of time to shoot in Federal Hill as well – with a view of the city, some of the fall foliage in bloom, and a quick stop to the home of their first date (Porters!).”

Warm and Chic Winery Engagement Dinner

Today, I'm excited to be sharing my first engagement dinner party here on APP! To celebrate their engagement, Alyson and Chris hosted a warm and chic dinner party at the rustic Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, Connecticutt last February. "Snow flurries whirled outside between the vineyard rows, as guests mingled in the beautiful Chamard Vineyards tasting room," described Ashley Poisella of Ashley Therese Photography . "The crackle of the fireplace added to the ambiance, as friends and family caught up and enjoyed estate wines with a full palette of cheeses. Dinner was served in the wine cellar at a long farm table filled with fresh flowers and the warm twinkle of candlelight."

As you can see, the gorgeous and oh-so-chic pink and white flower arrangements by Hana Floral Design only added to the warm and chic feel of the dinner event coordinated by true event . Alyson and Chris were married this past November in Newport Beach, California.

Real New York Wedding at The Green Building

Real New York Wedding at The Green Building

Whimsical…that is the word of the day here at Merci!  This wedding oozes whimsical details and is filled with romance.  Submitted to us by the lovely Kat Flower and photographed by Oak Street Studio , we are in love with the soft lighting and elegant touches that Danielle and Jeremy brought into their wedding.  Take a peek!

Real New York Wedding at The Green Building

Danielle wore a soft ivory Jenny Packham {Eden design} that was detailed with beads and sequins and had a gorgeous 1920s/30s art deco style to it!  She paired the gown with Jimmy Choo shoes and a custom made veil from Atelier Millinery from London.  Her “new” and “borrowed” pieces were shown in her jewelry – a white pearl necklace from Jeremy and his mother’s vintage bracelet.

Jeremy looked dapper in a custom-made Ermenegildo Zegna blue tuxedo with a Duchamp white dress shirt and an ivory bow tie.  The couple chose blush, ivory and navy as their colors to compliment the natural space of The Green Building .

The flower girls {four year old twins!} ran down the aisle in ivory dresses by Dessy and each carried a single pink rose.  The bridesmaids wore Watters Wtoo dresses in buff with an oatmeal sash.  The sashes were embellished with Swarvoski crystal and beads from M & J Trimming !

The ceremony took place in front of a backdrop of ribbons and lights.  We love the new and fresh idea of having a soft “altar”.  With the blush colors and elegant lighting, Danielle and Jeremy shown in front of their guests!

Jeremy’s groomsmen complimented the ladies in navy suits from T.M. Lewin with Prince of Wales check tiesfrom Peckham Rye .  Don’t you just love the old car decorated with flowers?  Such a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos!

Kat Flower used a mix of mercury glass and rose colored glass vessels to decorate the space.  With pillar and votive candles, the space glowed with a soft lighting that added to the romantic feeling of the day!

Danielle and Jeremy loved their backdrop of ribbons and lights and used it throughout the wedding.  They described their favorite photo {above, right} – “We were completely relaxed and so wonderfully in the moment, soaking in the best parts of our wedding day.”

DIY Lace and Glitter Sign | Inspired by BHLDN

A few months ago, I fell in love with a gorgeous Shimmering Sign from BHLDN and wanted to create something similar for the bar at my wedding! Something fun and easy to DIY that would add a little bit of pizazz on a budget!

I can honestly attest, as a girl who usually avoids sharp objects like X-Acto blades, this DIY was incredibly easy! And, in honor of the Superbowl this weekend, I’m wearing my Ravens Jersey for added luck!

Happy Crafting & Go Ravens!

DIY Lace and Glitter Sign | Inspired by BHLDN DIY Lace and Glitter Sign | Inspired by BHLDN DIY Lace and Glitter Sign | Inspired by BHLDN DIY Lace and Glitter Sign | Inspired by BHLDN

Supplies:
– Glitter Paper from the Craft Store
– A Stencil or Block Letter
– Pencil
– X-Acto Knife
– Hole Punch
– Lace Ribbon

Steps:
1) Using the back of the glitter paper, trace the border and holes within the letter with a pencil. Remember to trace the letter backwards so that when you cut the letter out, the glitter side is the front.
2) Carefully using an X-Acto Blade, cut out the letter.
3) Using a hole punch, carefully create one or two holes in the top of each letter! We recommend two holes to help keep the letter in place once it’s strung.
4) Run the ribbon through the holes in each letter and you’re finished!
