Whimsical…that is the word of the day here at Merci! This wedding oozes whimsical details and is filled with romance. Submitted to us by the lovely Kat Flower and photographed by Oak Street Studio , we are in love with the soft lighting and elegant touches that Danielle and Jeremy brought into their wedding. Take a peek!
Danielle wore a soft ivory Jenny Packham {Eden design} that was detailed with beads and sequins and had a gorgeous 1920s/30s art deco style to it! She paired the gown with Jimmy Choo shoes and a custom made veil from Atelier Millinery from London. Her “new” and “borrowed” pieces were shown in her jewelry – a white pearl necklace from Jeremy and his mother’s vintage bracelet.
Jeremy looked dapper in a custom-made Ermenegildo Zegna blue tuxedo with a Duchamp white dress shirt and an ivory bow tie. The couple chose blush, ivory and navy as their colors to compliment the natural space of The Green Building .
The flower girls {four year old twins!} ran down the aisle in ivory dresses by Dessy and each carried a single pink rose. The bridesmaids wore Watters Wtoo dresses in buff with an oatmeal sash. The sashes were embellished with Swarvoski crystal and beads from M & J Trimming !
The ceremony took place in front of a backdrop of ribbons and lights. We love the new and fresh idea of having a soft “altar”. With the blush colors and elegant lighting, Danielle and Jeremy shown in front of their guests!
Jeremy’s groomsmen complimented the ladies in navy suits from T.M. Lewin with Prince of Wales check tiesfrom Peckham Rye . Don’t you just love the old car decorated with flowers? Such a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos!
Kat Flower used a mix of mercury glass and rose colored glass vessels to decorate the space. With pillar and votive candles, the space glowed with a soft lighting that added to the romantic feeling of the day!
Danielle and Jeremy loved their backdrop of ribbons and lights and used it throughout the wedding. They described their favorite photo {above, right} – “We were completely relaxed and so wonderfully in the moment, soaking in the best parts of our wedding day.”
