A tree house in a beech

Tiny houses are often built in order to provide financial freedom, a simpler way of living or to reduce carbon footprints, but a tiny house can also serve as a space, that facilitates negotiations, inspires and gives people a new perspective, particularly when it is situated 8 meter over ground in a huge beech. That’s the case with the little tree house build by the French company La Cabane Perchée in the garden of KaløvigCenter, a Danish hotel and conference centre.

The house is being used for negotiations and other meetings with great results. It is also possible to spend the night in the beech as the 107 square feet tree house, made from cedar tree, has a couch, which can be turned into a bed. But mind you, no toilet!
