After Freiboitar and DJOKO placed exceptional originals on Indiana Tones, the Swiss imprint had every reason to swoop up the joint endeavor. The two Cologne-based homeboys have been kicking out some of the finest house and tech-flavored work currently making the rounds, and they’ve made the wise choice to see what would happen if they hopped into collab mode. They ended up with “Down Low,” a tenderhearted groove that doesn’t veer off too far on either side of the divider. Marked by cordial chord progressions and a smooth rhythmic structure, it’s a lofty little number that’s going to linger long after the fleeting summertime feels dissipate at the turn of the season.
