It’s the beginning of a prime moment for Mike Williams, who drew the curtain open at kineticFIELD this year and helped kick off an amazing weekend at EDC Las Vegas. As an artist who’s been completely on the come-up since catching Tiësto’s ear not too long ago—and even went on to collaborating with the titanic tastemaker on “I Want You”—he’s ready to add to the buzz he’s created by unveiling his latest work to the world, a vocal number called “Take Me Down.”
Williams had this to say about it:
I started the project “Take Me Down” this summer; my goal was to make a track that would fit in my live sets, but also on the radio. You could say it’s a track that brings together all my experiences this year. I had an amazing summer, which included opening the mainstage at EDC Las Vegas—definitely a dream come true! Hopefully, next summer will be even better. But first, it's time for the Amsterdam Dance Event next week, and I can't wait! Doing a lot of cool shows, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the crowd’s reaction on my new tracks!
The Spinnin’ release is full of positive vibes, featuring soft vocal phrases and building ever so subtly into a catchy drop. The sunny vibes inherent in the track will keep that state of mind going as winter draws near. Make sure to snatch up a copy when it hits shelves on Monday.
