Seminal experimentalist Aphex Twin is an artist who likes to do things differently. The producer who’s been hailed as the “most important electronic artist of all time” rarely releases videos, though when he does, they’ve been considered groundbreaking, such as “Windowlicker” and the terrifying “ Come to Daddy .” His first new video in 17 years is also what you might call unconventional. The Creators Project reports that the video to accompany “CIRKLON3,” taken from Aphex Twin’s upcoming new Cheetah EP , was actually directed by 12-year-old Ryan Winter, an aspiringfilm director from Ireland, who’s kept things in theme by delivering a deliriously weird affair.
