When designer Khalid Safar went on household shopping trips as a child with his mother on the Creek side in the Bur Dubai area, he used to see the preparation of natural cotton upholstery. In his new creation the daybed/sofa “Lazy Folds,“ he uses the same old technique of cotton preparation and stuffing.
As a sofa the 6.5 meter mattress is folded 7 times. When extended to 3 folds it transforms into a low daybed.
