The groom's childhood home in Ponte Vedra Beach was the perfect setting for this couple, who wanted a rustic, European style dinner party with their nearest and dearest. Handling many of the details themselves - and including family in the making of them - kept it personal, and our Fave Brooke Images documented their sweetly intimate day to perfection.
Priscila and Patrick met and began dating white attending UF, and really strengthened their bond to each other while on a 2 month backpacking trip through Europe. They share a love of travel and food, and were inspired by idea of a rustic European dinner party when it came time to plan their big day.
The two felt the first look (can we talk about how amazing it was?!) was one of their favorite moments. Says Priscila, "It was such a intimate and special moment for the both of us and we knew that once we had seen each other that very first time, all of our nerves for the actual wedding would dissipate. It was perfect!!"
Living in Los Angeles, Priscila didn't often get the chance to see her family from Spain; hosting the wedding at Patrick's childhood home in Ponte Vedra Beach - and handling most of the details themselves - allowed the two to plan an intimate, personal wedding in which they could feel connected to all of their guests. They made all of the decor themselves, including the dinner napkins, which doubled as favors, and Patrick's Aunts arranged all the flowers. Says Priscila, "Getting married in his childhood home was something very special for me... We've had such great memories through the years at that house, that it became an obvious choice for us to marry there."
The fog was an unexpected guest on the day, but the couple loved the whimsical feel it brought.
“The best part is that we'll always have the luxury of reliving that special day when we visit and we'll be able to recount the day to our future family.”
The father-daughter and mother-son dances were also favored memories for Priscila and Patrick.
Just so beautiful. Congrats, you two!
