The following branded content post is brought to you by TravelPony . After my first post featuring this hotel booking site, I was happy to hear from a few jubilant readers who were able to secure deals on hotels, so when TravelPony approached me for a second go-round, I was happy to oblige. All opinions shared in this piece, as always, are my own.
A few months ago , I introduced you to TravelPony — a new hotel booking site that relies on social media and word of mouth to score ridiculously low hotel rates.
Although skeptical that a brand new site could have such low rates, I tested the system three times and was shocked to learn that the TravelPony rates for hotels in Boston, London, and Las Vegas were lower than anything I could come up with on any other booking site.
Every travel booking site talks the talk. TravelPony genuinely walks the walk.
And now they’ve offered a new deal to my readers:
Adventurous Kate Readers Get $50 Off!
Use the promotional code KATE50 to receive $50 off a booking of $200 or more on TravelPony.
Lots of New Destinations
In my last review, I pointed out that TravelPony only worked with a limited selection of destinations, most of them within the US, but since then, they’ve increased their markets substantially.
In Europe, in addition to London and Paris, you can now book hotels in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid). There’s also Mexico (Cancun and Playa del Carmen) and several new cities all over the US.
And — BONUS $25 Off for New Members!
In order to access these low rates, you need to be a TravelPony member — but membership is free and easy. TravelPony is currently offering $25 credit for new members.
When to Use TravelPony
TravelPony works with a select list of hotel partners — this isn’t a booking engine for every hotel in a city, but just a selection of their hotel partners. The number of hotels varies from city to city.
For that reason, I recommend using TravelPony if you are interested in booking a midrange to luxury hotel and are open to suggestions. This site’s strength is finding the lowest prices for these types of properties, not the cheapest accommodation possible.
So next time you need to book a hotel, don’t forget that you’ve got a $50 coupon waiting for you here. 😉 Which means you have an extra $50 for something really special.
