You guys are going to love this set of images so much! The vibrant colors are so fresh and so Miami as is Carlos and Cristina's rad style and hilarious humor. That, paired with Evan Rich Photography 's documentation of this fun day, make for a perfectly funky e-sesh filled with all sort of things we dig.
Stearing clear of the traditional engagement portraits, Cristina, Carlos and Evan bought tickets and hopped on a tour bus. They cruised around to local spots in Miami, grabbing snacks and taking pics along the way. Love it!
I can't even pretend to tell this proposal story any better, so I'm letting Cristina share: Carlos proposed to me on our 3rd anniversary over a romantic dinner he arranged at Chef Adrienne's in Kendall. Carlos had always joked that he was going to propose to me with an onion ring, since they're one of my favorite guilty pleasures. So, when our dessert came to the table there sat a plate with a single onion ring in front of me. Before I knew it, Carlos knelt down on one knee and grabbed my hands.
“Life is a like an onion, it has many layers. I'm ready to peel off this layer and start a new life with you. Will you marry me?”
I couldn't believe what was happening! Of course I said "Yes!"
Carlos is passionate, giving & prepared. What I love most about him is that he is always in tune with my needs and wants without my having to tell him. He's always 3 steps ahead of me and knows exactly what I want or need in any given situation. Carlos is my biggest supporter and I can always count on him to be by my side. He's willing to go the extra mile to make me happy and make sure I am taken care of.
And according to the groom: Cristina is loving, kind, & level-headed. What I love about her is that she compliments me and completes me. She keeps me focused when my mind wanders off and keeps me grounded when things start to get hectic. She truly is my partner and I thank God for putting her in my life.
Amazing banyan tree shots, right? Cannot wait to see pics of this wedding. Congrats, guys!
