Get ready for one of the cutest engagement sessions, y'all! Brittany and Dave definitely have that special something as a couple and it was captured flawlessly by Chelsea of Finding Light Photography . They toured downtown Tampa, messed around with Dave's firefighter gear and just had a good time with one another as evident by their huge grins.
The two actually attended elementary and middle school together, but they didn't really get to know one another until many years later. They reconnected at a friend's engagement party, hit it off and as Brittany says, "the rest is history".
The Tampa Firefighters Museum was brilliant homage to Dave's career choice. The vintage truck, Brittany's adorable red shorts and their obvious affection for one another make the best accessories, don't you think?!
Brittany mentioned she thought Dave was up to something on their family Thanksgiving trip last year: "He was being very sneaky. He proposed while our families were vacationing together at a cabin in Georgia. We took a walk around a nearby lake and meanwhile our families set up everything for him back at the cabin. He had thought out so many sweet details I will never forget. It was the best moment and he even got it all on film thanks to his sister's GoPro talents!"
We found an awesome rustic shabby chic barn in Brooksville where we are getting married next March. We are a very laid back couple who want our day to be relaxed but a night to remember. We are planning to have a photo booth, corn hole, and some awesome jams all night long. Can't wait to marry my best friend and dance the night away with all of our closet friends and family! Dave adds: My future wife is very crafty and creative, so naturally it will look amazing.
