Hi friends! One of my favorite parts about the holidays is being able to go all out with holiday décor. I just love coming home from a long day to a festive wonderland. This year, I teamed up with HomeGoods to dress up my Beverly Hills home for the holidays.
Take a peek! My favorite part was how affordable everything is. Perfect for someone like me that likes to change it up a little every year. There are so many ways to bring the holidays into your kitchen. One of my favorite things to do when throwing a holiday party or dinner is to decorate the chairs with festive throws. Then, that becomes the party favor or take-home gift for guests. Décor and presents all in one!
I adore a nice, full tablescape. Ornaments in clear, sphere bowls, garlands strewn across the table and tons of fun, festive tableware. Don’t be afraid to take a cue from fashion trends and mix prints. I’m just obsessed with plaid this year and mixing it with other prints like chevron really updated the look.
I’m also really into copper this year and incorporated it all into my bar set up. Copper is just so chic and versatile – it goes with any color, texture, material, you name it! Ready for a Moscow Mule, anyone?
Yes, I have an intense collection of nutcrackers. For me, when it comes to nutcrackers, more is definitely more! The area behind the kitchen sink is an often-forgot-about area for holiday décor so I thought it would be the perfect place to display my beloved collection. And don’t forget those holiday-scented soaps and lotions next to the sink! Makes doing dishes just a little more appealing…kind of.
Don’t you love those festive cake and pastry platters for all those baked goods? Complete the look with bunches of winter foliage surrounding the sweet treats. Something as simple as branches of holly in a large, clear vase can make a real statement.
And here’s my living room! I accented the already rich colors of my furniture with cranberry wreaths, toy soldiers, throw pillows and fun stockings. Cozy, isn’t it?
Don’t forget to spread holiday cheer to your furry friend! I got the cutest plaid pet bed, throw pillow and some festive toys for our pup. The red metallic food and water bowls are so much fun and can really be used year-round if you please.
I had so much fun creating this look with all the great pieces from HomeGoods. It was really easy too, there was such a variety that it was really a one-stop shop for everything I needed and wanted. What holiday décor trends are you loving this season?
