Last week, we showed you an exciting example of wearable technology with the Basslet watch-sized subwoofer . Now we’ve got something even more next-level with Zungle Panther sunglasses, which allow you to literally “wear the beats,” thanks to bone-conduction speakers.
The special built-in speakers work in conjunction with a noise-cancelling mic, with the bone conduction functionality working by transmitting sound waves to the skull via vibrations.
Containing a hidden USB port you can use to load as much as several hours of music onto the glasses, they’re also Bluetooth-enabled and allow you to listen to music by pairing it with your smartphone (as well as allowing you to take phone calls).
Find out more at the Zungle Panther site, and watch a demonstration below of how exactly its bone-conducting speakers actually work.
