“10 Places. 10 Songs. A musical journey across the world.” That is how Spanish maestro Henry Saiz is pitching a new album project for which he’s just launched fundraising via Kickstarter . The project would see him recording his next LP in iconic and exotic destinations around the world, in response to the unique surroundings and indigenous cultures around him.
“The concept of this album is to materialize the essence of each place into a song. I've always been fascinated by how our environment can influence creative choice,” Saiz said in a statement.
What are some of the international adventures he has planned? His agenda includes recording within an Egyptian pyramid , during a psychotropic trip to the Joshua Tree desert , inside the volcanic caves of Lanzarote Island , and among the Maasai tribe s.
