Swedish blogger and carpenter Sara May Kahl has renovated her own small farmhouse (36m2/388 ft2) using ecological and second hand building materials. The end result is a very colourful and personal home, with a lot of creative and inexpensive solutions, all done without jeopardizing quality.
Sara May have build drawers into the staircase. A great way to save some space.
The kitchen counter top is made of natural linoleum, the blue colour looks great with mahogany plywood.
Painting both walls and ceiling the same sunny colour creates a warm atmosphere in the bed room
Sara May Kahl’s home is a traditional red Swedish wooden house with white trim. Visit her blog: http://36organicm2.blogspot.dk/
