The two students Christian Zwick and Konstantin Jerabek fromUniversity ofKarlsruhehave created an interesting housing concept called “Roll It.”
The cylinder-shaped “house” consists of three parts, that you can roll to change their function. Roll the workspace 180 degrees and it becomes a bed, and the kitchen can be transformed to a bathroom. Personally I’m a little iffy about that last part, do you really want to do your business and cooking in the same place? The toilet is hinged, so it can’t be turned upside down. Thank God for that!
Toilet and kitchen are hidden behind panels, when they are not in use.
In the centre you find the human counterpart to the mouse wheel, so you don’t even have go outside to get your exercise.
