When I first saw this engagement shoot, I was so excited! It's at Disneyland! I recognize every spot, too. My husband was watching me put together the photos, and
he even recognized some of them... "That's right in front of the bathrooms!" Haha...you can't tell it's the restrooms, of course, but if you've spent some time at Disneyland, you'll know which photo I'm talking about! ;) Anyway, I grew up going to Disneyland, so the park holds so many memories for me. You'll notice the third photo is one of the couple on the staircase...I remember taking a photo there with my family when I was little. The place brings up so many great memories for me, that I thought it was a very sweet idea to have an engagement shoot there.
Disneyland is a special place for Danny and Nathalie, too! They actually met in Africa (Yes, Africa!) on a missions trip. After returning home to the U.S., they remained good friends, visiting each other often, and spending lots of time together at Disneyland, in particular. So Disneyland was the perfect setting for this couple's engagement session. Nathalie says Disneyland is where she first fell in love with Danny, and they continue to visit the park at least once a month! I'm so jealous, I haven't been in forever! Dale and I used to have park passes, but we let them expire a couple of years ago, and we haven't been back since.
