“A small, simple and sunny summer wedding” not only makes for a great alliteration but also an accurate description of today’s feature. This bride was surrounded by family (and sunflowers) at this intimate gathering in the backyard of her childhood home, photographed by Joanna Fisher . The bride’s own children served as ring bearer and flower girl and participated in a special part of the “union” ceremony. To complete the couple’s union, the bride and groom filled a “unity frame” with colored sand, then invited the children to add sand as well. Complete with a sunflower bouquet, burlap and lace table settings, and light blue accents, this wedding is beyond adorable.
