Destination weddings are some of my favorite weddings to blog about. There is just something so special and endearing about getting away for your special day. Whether the destination is 100 miles away, or 1,000, I love the adventure that a new location brings to the wedding ceremony. For North Carolinian’s Brian and Katherine, Fripp Island, SC was their destination of choice.

Brian and Katherine had clear blue skies on their special day that made for some stunning photos by Amanda Nicole Miller-Photographer. Katherine’s enchanting creme lace dress is her own mother’s from 35 years ago! What an amazing authentic dress that holds so much meaning. The flowy a-line style is also perfectly fitting for the couple’s beach wedding! Brian’s attire fit the scene as well, with a handsome light blue suit paired with a pink tie. This man knows how to show that yes- real men do wear pink! Tastefully done, Brian! The bride’s Toms wedges are also a great addition to the casual feel of the destination beach wedding.
