“I always love working with people who were in the bridal party of weddings I’ve shot because I feel like I’ve had the opportunity to build a bit of a relationship with them already, which is how I met Soyphet. There is really quite a bit of trust involved in hiring a photographer, so when someone contacts me after they’ve already been in front of my camera, there is already a foundation of trust to build on. I was so excited when she contacted me about her and Tony’s wedding! They are a fun, adorable couple and their engagement session was an absolute breeze. They are so at ease with one another, which made my job easy! I can’t wait for their wedding this October!” – Beth Hamilton Photography
“I actually met Beth when we were both in the wedding party of a mutual friend. She was doing double-duty as photographer and Matron of Honor! When the wedding was over, I saw the pictures pouring in and loved what she was able to capture. Her photography style really meshed well with what I was looking for in my own wedding. So, it was an easy decision to have her as my photographer…
..In the age of Pinterest, I can’t think of any reason why I wouldn’t DIY. :) I have pinned so many things to my wedding board and have found some great ideas for table markers, seating charts, photo backdrops, and dessert bars that I plan on incorporating into the wedding. I have also enlisted my sister to make the ring pillow which I am really excited about. But the biggest DIY project I have done is designing all the wedding stationery. I love being able to find ways to put my personal touch on things!
My fiance and I have been together for five years, own a home together, and co-parent three dogs. During that whole time, we have never been on an extended trip by ourselves. Needless to say, I am looking forward to spending a whole week with him in the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon. We both love to travel and this is a great opportunity to get away just the two of us. It’s also the only thing I am not directly involved in planning and I’m excited that he is in charge of it!” – Soyphet, the bride-to-be
