“Coming down the aisle and seeing the most important people in my life… and then them witnessing me marry the man of my dreams!
..The main thing we DIY-ed was our welcome bags placed in each room. The bags included sunscreen, bug wipes, margarita mix, first aid items, a mini flashlight, Mexican candies, bottled water, gum, bottle openers and drink ‘koozies”. It was a lot of work getting all the items together and getting them to Mexico, but it was a great way to show our appreciation to our guests for making the long journey to paradise.
Something old: great grandmothers wedding handkerchief, used by 4 generations of women in my family. Something new: my garter, which was also blue!
