Spring Wedding by Fairy Tale Photography
There is no denying that the color of the spring wedding season is pink. The challenge is to incorporate pink in a unique way like this couple did with a pink ring toss, pink tablecloths and “pink” snow cones. Fairy Tale Photography captured every exciting moment from the life size Jenga game to the football toss for the guys. What really takes the cake though (pardon the pun), is this couple’s proposal story!
From the bride: On Sunday August 14, 2011 Suzanne was practically drug out of bed at 5:00am by Matt. They began driving toward McKinney “Matt made a comment on how beautiful the sunrise was. At that moment something clicked in my head and the puzzle pieces starting coming together. We took an exit in McKinney and made our way through the neighborhoods until we pulled into the parking lot of a shopping center… Once there, it was obvious that we were about to take part in a hot air balloon ride… it was peaceful to be up in the sky, just the two of us. As I admired the view and embraced the serenity, I turned around to say something to Matt only to find him down on one knee with a beautiful ring. Once I said yes, the air balloon conductor got on his radio and announced to all of the other hot air balloons in the sky that I had said yes, and you could hear the congratulations coming through from the other end. Once the balloon ride was over, we sipped on a bottle of champagne as we relished in the thought of spending forever together.The morning ended with one last surprise – my close family and friends waiting for me at a nearby breakfast place to congratulate us on our engagement. What more could a girl ask for?
