Win an Overnight Experience at Fort Langley National Historic Site this June!

Fort Langley National Historic Site is pleased to announce that new oTENTik tents are now available for reservation for overnight stays. As part of the launch, Parks Canada is offering a 20% discount on all reservations made prior to June 30th. Parks Canada’s newest accommodation will give visitors the rare opportunity to sleep inside the walls of Vancouver’s only fort.

Parks Canada oTENTik cabins offer a unique blend of homey comfort and a taste of outdoor adventure, an ideal way for visitors who want to discover the joys of camping but prefer the comfort of a bed and a campsite already set up. This ‘turn-key’ camping offer is a great way to introduce camping to families as well as to help those who remember the camping experiences of their youth but no longer own the equipment.

Each Parks Canada oTENTik tent is designed and made in Canada. All are equipped with a table, chairs and comfortable beds to accommodate up to six people. Fort Langley National Historic Site supplies the use of barbecues, a group campfire, and an individual fridge, as well as a complimentary breakfast. Visitors need only bring food, personal effects and sleeping bags.

While Hudson’s Bay Company workers would be required to set up camp when travelling and bring their own supplies, we’ve done the work for you, no fuss no muss! Here is what is included with each oTENTik rental and what to bring:

Inside each tent:

  • Sleeping area for up to six people: two bunk beds and one queen sized bed
  • A table with seating for up to six people
  • One lantern with rechargeable batteries
  • One broom and one dustpan
  • Cooking Equipment, dishes and utensils
  • Lockbox for valuables

Outside the tent:

  • Shared propane BBQ and accessories
  • Mini fridge
  • A group firepit
  • Picnic table
  • One complimentary bundle of firewood per night
  • A common service building with toilets and water taps
  • The fort to explore!

To reserve one of Parks Canada oTENTik tents, future campers can contact Fort Langley National Historic Site at 604-513-4799.
