Moby Taps Oliver Heldens to Update His Eternal Rave Classic “Go”

US dance stalwart Moby has done a great job of getting in everybody’s face again with the release of his new autobiography, Porcelain , which details his rise to become a crossover icon at the end of the ‘90s, when he authored one of the highest-selling dance albums of all time with Play. He’s also just enlisted Dutchman Oliver Heldens to dive even deeper into his back catalog.

“Go” was released by Moby way back in 1991, and it’s widely considered one of the greatest rave classics of all time. It’s regularly dug up and remixed for the modern dancefloor, and it carries an emotional power that continues to resonate today.

In this instance, it’s the club-focused HI-LO alias from Heldens that’s been chosen to give the classic record a modern tweak, and he appropriately charges it up for full effect.

Moby “Go” (HI-LO Remix) is available now on Spinnin’ Records. Listen to a preview below.
