The Music Video for Fono’s “Feet on the Ground” Is Something Strange

Fono set a ridiculously high standard for himself when he let go of the music video for his breakout tune, “Real Joy.” The eye-bulging visual was a real thrill ride and managed to turn more than a few heads, on top of taking home high honors at the Paris International Music Video Festival. The Brighton producer is looking to catch an equal amount of attention with another cinematic win: “ Feet on the Ground ,” taken from his debut EP on Insomniac Records and Polydor.

Director Pavel Brenner was brought back on for obvious reasons, and he owns the screen yet again with this bewitching thing of beauty. The scene is set with a young girl hanging out after-hours in a vacant school. As the shimmery synths start to ride behind the topline, she begins showing off her fancy footwork. It’s innocent and sweet at first, until things take a strange turn into the paranormal. We won’t spoil it for you, so hit play and prepare to get mildly weirded out.
