The Park is located in Sierra Nevada, California and has a territory of 1,200 square miles. It is normal to find meadows, wildflowers, and two wild and scenic rivers, the Tuolumne and Merced Rivers in the National Park. There are also 13 campgrounds, and 4 of them are open year-round.
