For the past 6 months, I have practically lived in the Isis Riviera Skirt . With a simple, wrap around, Velcro closure style, the skirt is easy to throw on over just about anything to add a bit more coverage and take you from playtime to running errands in a snap.
Since November, I have worn the Isis Riviera Skirt for a variety of activities, such as over my swimsuit for stand up paddleboarding and wrapped over a pair of tights when hiking. While spending all day at the beach, the skirt is easy to throw on for a quick trip to the cafe across the street to grab lunch or a gelato. I regularly keep the skirt in my car to wear over my bike shorts into the grocery store or coffee shop after a big ride.
Made from 100% nylon, the super lightweight fabric repels water and dries extremely quickly if you do get it wet. One of the two pockets features a secure closure to keep your chapstick, money, or other smaller items from falling out. The pocket is not zippered, however, so I wouldn't put something important like your keys in the pockets when participating in watersports.
The only nitpick I have with the Riviera Skirt is that the pocket drain holes are set a little too high. This means if you do completely fall in the ocean or lake, you will have to turn your pockets out to remove all the water.
Bottom Line: The Isis Riviera Skirt is by far the most versatile piece of fashionable and functional gear you will own this summer.
The Isis Riviera Skirt comes in three different colors (grey, khaki, and rust) and retails for $49. While you are at it, you might want to check out some of their cute fast drying tops such as the Enza Strappy Tank and Como Hoody .
