When I came upon this ingenious trick for hiding cash while traveling, I knew I couldn’t just tell you—I had to show you. The next time you travel, stash an emergency bit of cash inside a tube of lip balm and keep it with you. (Even if someone steals your wallet, you’ll still have some cash left over in reserve.)

You can do this trick with any tube of lip balm you might have laying around the house. Simply remove the excess lip balm, roll up a bill of any denomination, and tuck it in! For best results fold the bill in half length-wise as shown in our video.
