Wednesday was big day for longboard skateboarder Drew Lewis . This is because he began his journey longboarding all across America! He鈥檚 titled his voyage 鈥淪witch Kick America鈥?and has two main objectives for his adventure: to break the current Guinness world record and to wholly represent the positive aspects of transport sports. 鈥淚 also want to prove that there are other forms of transportation, (and) ways to reduce our carbon footprints.鈥?says the longboarder. Starting in Wilmington, North Carolina Drew is currently kicking and pushing his way across the highways and greenways of America.
This past year Lewis has trained for his expedition getting in shape and mentally preparing himself to greet whatever obstacles he encounters out on the road. Both his helmet and longboard are equipped with attachments for his Go-Pro camera as he plans to document his adventures at length.
