A few months back, I recieved a sweet email from Shannon introducing herself and her new bridal boutique she was launching. Fast forward to now and she's easily become "one of us" with WildeFlower Boutique . She asked for a little guidance with her premier photo shoot and we obviously obliged; it's what we do! Chelsey Boatwright Photography was a perfect fit for this retro Palm Beach inspiration.
It's been a dream getting to know Shannon while collaborating on her inaugural photo shoot. We hooked her up with our Fave, Shirley Baptista , and Courtney from Jennifer Cruz Beauty Group for hair and makeup. The goal was mid-century Brigitte Bardot. We think they nailed it! The look pairs so well with each dress in the WildeFlower Boutique collection. They're all a tad unconventional and have just the right amount of bohemian flair. Added bonus: we've got 'em right in our very own Social House !
From Shannon: When thinking of inspiration for the photo shoot I always kept the WildeFlower bride in mind. She is a girl who wants her personal style to shine through on her wedding day. She takes a fresh approach to bridal style, whether that means a fashion-forward wedding day look or perhaps a unique reception, rehearsal dinner or day after brunch option. From blazers to jumpsuits and simple sheaths to crop-top dresses, the WildeFlower Boutique collection appeals to a variety of brides.
Set against the backdrop of The Colony , I wanted to create a story that mixes the vintage glamour of our home Palm Beach with modern silhouettes, retro-inspired pantsuits and plenty of inspiration to consider going outside the traditional bridal box. Banana leaf wallpaper, fruity drinks, and big hats all emanate what I love about Palm Beach. Each look aims to capture Palm Beach in different ways, but they share the ability to express your personal style and make you feel like your most beautiful bridal self.
“I hope these looks inspire brides to have a little fun, be one-of-a-kind and most importantly be yourself on your big day.”
Easy to see why we're obsessed, am I right? Each ensemble is rocked by Alix Paige , a local singer/actress/model and recent bride herself. It was great watching a newly married gal fall in love with every dress while dreaming up a different celebration with each one (same groom, of course!). The versatility of these gowns is awesome and we cannot wait to see more WildeFlower brides grace the Florida scene.
