Elegant Bridal Session at the Strickland House
Today’s Florida bridal session by Kaylie B. Poplin and Lovegood Weddings beautifully combines historical elegance with modern glam. The Strickland House , built in the late 1800’s, offers the perfect, southern backdrop for this shoot. Everything classic from today’s weddings is beautifully joined to everything classic from that romantic era. 19th century furniture and gold candelabras are the ideal contrast for the bride’s 21st century style. Loose curls and large hair flowers offers a little Florida beach vibe while not taking away from the shoot’s traditional accents.

From Kaylie…
“This elegant and classic styled bridal shoot was a dream! When Lauren at Lovegood Weddings and I were dreaming up this shoot, we immediately knew that there was no better venue to fit the aesthetics than the Strickland House in Point Washington, Florida. The feeling around this shoot was a classic and natural elegance. It rained on and off during this shoot, but the enthusiasm from the people involved made it such a pleasure for everyone, when it could have potentially been disastrous. Lauren’s talented styling from the table set to the candles circling the bride on the porch all set the mood, and the model, Juliane Spears, was absolutely amazing. Her gorgeous makeup was done by none other than Morgan King of Morgan King Makeup. Working with a team of such talent was a complete pleasure!”
