Tennessee Mountain Wedding
Today’s Tennessee Mountain wedding by JoPhoto took place at a very special location in the Smoky Mountains, the Spence Cabin at Elkmont. Elkmont use to be a community of summer homes, some as old as the early 1900’s. When the Smoky Mountain National Park was established, the park purchased all of the homes, allowing the owners to stay until their leases ran out. One by one, the leases on these homes expired, and the deserted homes began to fall apart. Recently, the park decided to renovate these historical homes, the first being the Spence Cabin.
This adorable little cabin is nestled in the woods, perfect for Tara and Andy’s outdoor wedding. Their reception was held at the Appalachian Clubhouse, which use to be the gathering place for the homeowners in this mountain community.
