Peel off a Ten for Haiti

I feel broke, but I have a house full of stuff and a car.

I have more debt than I would like, but a real net worth.

My parents have health problems, but they are alive and kicking.

I know people who have died, but nobody I know has been crushed to death in an earthquake.

So this morning I made a donation. To me it’s not much, to them it’s huge.

It’s easy to focus on our own little problems. But they are trifling compared to what most of the world’s population is dealing with. With clean water and plenty to eat we are already ahead of the vast majority.

Haiti was already a complete mess before this earthquake, before who knows how many buildings and lives were destroyed.

What Haiti really needs right now is cash for medical supplies, food, and water. You can donate with a credit card, with Paypal (through eBay), or even with a text message. Here are some good posts and articles on how to help:
