Safe to say, Erin and Cory are each other's best accessory. These two are just so cute together, sharing loads of style and charisma in front of the camera of our Fave, Melanie Gabrielle . Also, this guy could write the instruction manual for proposals!
If you're planning a proposal, take notes: Cory proposed in the middle of the week and knowing his future bride would be too excited to continue work for the remaining days, he requested leave from her boss and arranged for a romantic getaway to St. Augustine. So. Good.
And the story according to Erin: Our 5 year anniversary was coming up and he had something special planned that was all taken care of. He just told me to dress nice, so I assumed we were going to a really nice restaurant. We were a little early for the reservation, so he decided we would take a detour to look at the sun setting over the ocean. He popped the trunk and I was blown away. There was a picnic basket, lanterns, a blanket and a couple bottles of wine. He told me we were going to enjoy a romantic picnic dinner on the beach.
We talked and laughed as we listened to music and stared into the beautiful stars. He then paused the music and started to tell me how much he loved me and why he loved me so much. All of a sudden he dropped to a knee and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. I was so shocked that all I could do was hug him, which was obviously a yes!
The surprises didn't stop there. After sharing the news with both their families, they returned home and Erin was greeted with fresh flowers, lit candles, champagne, cake and rose petals everywhere. Cory for the win!
He's set the bar pretty high, but I'm sure Cory will have even more amazing surprises for Erin come wedding day! "I am really looking forward to having everyone that I love celebrate with us." says Erin, "Most importantly, I am looking forward to walking down the aisle and seeing Cory up there waiting for me to spend the rest of my life with him."
