It may not feel like it, but the long days of summer are just ahead and along with them come our favorite Maryland past time… crab feasts! This gorgeous mango and steel blue styled event was dreamed up by Howerton+Wooten Events (HW Events) and was immaculately captured by Renee Hollingshead Photography !
Kawania of HW Events shared a bit about the inspiration for this shoot, ” We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our state than hosting an intimate summer rehearsal dinner with Maryland’s blue crab as the signature dish. The stationery for this styled shoot includes blue and wood invitations with an incredible envelope liner; place cards that are die-cut to look like crabs in a steel blue color, and an illustrated card with instructions for eating blue crabs. Special touches include the watercolor chair pillows with watercolor painting of crabs, personalized mallets and bibs for the bride and groom that say, “Pinch Me! I’m getting married tomorrow!”
