Happy Monday! We are starting the week with a real classic French Riviera wedding that will have you dreaming of summer days on the Riviera. Russian couple Alina and Pavel from London, decided on a romantic wedding at Tiara Miramar Beach hotel & Spa , as Alina’s parents live on the French Riviera and what better place for a romantic wedding.
The stunning images by Caught the Light Photography , have sent my mind wandering for my next return to the Riviera, to see that beautiful coastline.
Rock My Love wedding planners take us through the big day: “When we first Skype with our sweet Alina, she was very excited and we understood why just few minutes after; her big 3 day wedding was in just 3 months and nothing was booked or ready !
Alina and Pavel were looking for 80 relatives and friends to be accommodated as well, because they were all coming from England and Russia. The end result – What a beautiful week-end they had !
The Tiara Hotel was the perfect place for the wedding with an amazing sea view with 55 rooms and the possibility to privatize it for the all weekend. Fabrice Giraud, Head Chef at the renowned restaurant created a stunning menu and the guests were in safe hands with Fabrice and his team.
Due to the distance and as usual with our foreigner brides and grooms, for the wedding planning we worked a lot via emails, Skype and Pinterest to mix our worlds. Alina chose her suppliers based on our recommendations, understanding her tastes and wishes.
An interesting element that was technically difficult was covering the swimming pool, so that the ceremony could be held right in front of the sea.
If you are looking to plan a wedding in a short time frame – planning a wedding in 3 months can be done, but does take the best team to make this happen.
On Friday whilst the guest were arriving one by one at the hotel and discovering this beautiful place, our couple were enjoying their engagement shooting in Cap d’Ail, next to Monaco, right in front of the sea.
Then, at night they could meet their guest at the cocktail reception at the hotel and dance for a while. Of course and to keep the best for the day after, our bride and groom went to bed at midnight so they could get up early to get ready !
The day of the wedding – In the morning,Pavel vacated the room so that the bridal party could get ready. Our bride and her bridesmaid spent a part of the day getting ready with the hairdresser and makeup. They could share this moment with some champagne, they got used quickly to the french tradition !
At 5pm the wedding ceremony started on the swimming pool with their uncle as celebrant.
Then, while our bride and groom were taking pictures with their loved ones, a cocktail reception took place on the outside bar, just up to the diner place on the beach.
Later, everybody sat to savoir the French diner made by the Chef Fabrice Giraud.
The day ended at 3 am by jumping into the water quite dressed !
The last day of the 3 day wedding, saw everyone reconvene for a brunch before the bride and groom headed off to Japan to celebrate their honeymoon.”
