One of our long time photography friends, Ilene Squires, recently celebrated her third wedding anniversary with her husband Jorge. The two decided to plan a romantic trip to Puerto Rico exploring the island and wandering the streets of the beautiful capital city. With the help of Vanessa Velez Photography , the two were able to step in front of the camera to capture beautiful memories of their anniversary.
“A photographer myself, I’m not used to being on the other side of the lens, so I took this chance to focus on styling,” said Ilene. ”I’ve always been inspired by the seaside aesthetics of Spain meets old Cuba, but since Jorge is Puerto Rican, it was much easier and natural for us to pull this look off while paying homage to his roots.”
