When you love someone, you want to start the rest of your life with them as soon as possible. Luna and Ciprian are true testaments to that as they decided to skip an engagement period and say their “I-do’s” as soon and as care free as possible. We’ve never seen a more gorgeous wedding be pulled together so quickly and so chicly before. We are obsessed with the stunning details in their wedding that Ayenia Nour captured! So take a look and remember you don’t need to plan for a year for one perfect day!
Luna and Ciprian met on a dating website and starting going “steady” after a date at Pure Food and Wine. Following their love for all things delicious, it was only natural for Ciprian to propose at Daniel Restaurant where he surprised Luna with the ring as a “complementary dessert”!
Luna wore a gorgeous (off the rack!) sweetheart Max Mara gown with peach ruffles. She found her dress one month prior to the wedding – on purpose! ”I didn’t want to give myself a year to drive myself and everyone around me crazy,” said Luna. ”To top it off, I had NO idea what kind I wanted — 80′s couture? Marie Antoinette? A bird dress? Mermaid?” Well, we think she did a fabulous job working under pressure! She paired the dress with some blue Carrie Bradshaw Manolo Blahnik’s as well as a fur bolero for chilly outdoor photos!
Ciprian wore a Top Man tuxedo jacket, Zara tuxedo pants, Calvin Klein white tuxedo shirt and bow tie, and John Fluevog shoes. Together they looked picture perfect in Central Park strolling and dancing under the bridge.
The couple chose Il Buco for it’s medieval and rustic feel. With exposed brick walls, rows of bottles of wine, candles, vintage furniture, and vintage chandeliers, the venue was the perfect place to celebrate love with friends and family…and a good bottle of vino! ”We knew we wanted a small and intimate celebration,” said Ciprian. “Our venue was already beautiful, so all we had to do was show up.” With no instructions to their florist other than “work your magic”, the couple had a beautiful table scape of small floral arrangements that gave Il Buco’s rustic atmosphere a more feminine touch. Each guest was provided with a bottle of Sicilian olive oil, which also doubled as a place card holder!
Nothing sounds better to us than a great chocolate cake and beautiful Italian wine, so naturally, Luna and Ciprian chose the two for their dessert!
