Take a nap in a box

In several airports and train stations travellers now have the opportunity of getting some rest in a little private cubicle known as Sleepbox. The box was developed by Arch Group, a team of architects in Russia, and was first tried out in Sheremetyevo International Airport, Moscow. It measures 2.5 m (98″) x 1.6m (63″) by 2.5 m(98″) or 3 m(118″) high and is available in one, two or three bunk configurations and can be booked for 30 minutes or more. Sleepbox recommends a usage charge of U.S. $15 an hour.

The boxes, which are soundproof and fully air conditioned, can be equipped with touch screens, TV’s, Wi-Fi, alarm, intercom, safe or even automated payment stations. Is this something you would consider using, when waiting for a plane or train?
