Alix and Matt knew one thing for certain when they began planning their wedding; they wanted their guests to be entertained and relaxed, without an ounce of boredom. Their vision was perfectly suited for the delightful British countryside venue of Aynhoe Park . Guests spent their time exploring rooms simply overflowing with secrets and surprises; including a giant polar bear, a giraffe in a top hat and disco balls mingling with ancient sculptures. With no lack of fun photo backdrops, Marianne Taylor Photography captured Alix and Matt’s colorful and playful day with such beauty, you will be grinning as widely as their guests.

The Inspiration: We wanted to create a party where everyone felt special and, more importantly, relaxed enough to have fun. I also wanted it to feel very fluid so that people didn’t get bored or end up waiting around for too long. I also wanted to include my friends and family in everything so my sister and best friend did readings which they had written themselves, and my friends and family baked cakes for our cake table.
