Probably one of the most picturesque places for a 5K run, Wreck Beach will be hosting the 17th annual Bare Buns Run this Sunday, July 21st.

No shirt, no pants, no problem! This run is a bit different from others because:

a) It’s on a beach
b) Nobody wears any pants!

The Bare Buns Run caters to those who are completely comfortable in their own skin, and celebrates the naturalist way of life. However, there is still a “Shy” option, which may give you a bit of allowance on how much you really dare to bare.

If you’re ready to take part in the most unique 5K in Vancouver, head over to Wreck Beach any time from 9am to 11:45 on Sunday, July 21st to register. Entry only costs $25 for adults and $20 for youth or seniors. You’ll get a cool Bare Buns Run Shirt and a frame-able participation certificate. There are also different running categories for families, slowpokes, and for teams.

If you’d rather just watch all of the action, Wreck Beach will still be open to the public. Just remember, cameras are typically frowned upon — despite the beautiful scenery.
