What a sweet treat! Today we’re hearing a bit about Justin and Whitney’s wedding (captured by Love Life Images ) from the groom himself!
St. Michaels had been our home away from home throughout our relationship, and we knew it would be the perfect place for our big day. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum had everything we were looking for in a wedding venue- a beautiful view of the Chesapeake, quaint buildings surrounding the site, and a modest, rustic feel. The pictures speak for themselves and our guests loved it there. We wanted the ceremony to have an intimate feel and decided to forego the traditional wedding party, instead having only a best man and a maid of honor. Whitney’s uncle, Father Daniel Hank, officiated our wedding. It was important to us that we had a personal relationship with the person who performed the ceremony. We wanted the day to highlight the things that are most important to us – our family, good music, and our puppy, Louie. My former band mates all attended the wedding and had the opportunity to perform during the reception. It was a highlight of the night for sure!
