Beach-to-Pier Engagement: Keeley & Graham in Pensacola Beach

An end-of-summer romp along the beaches and dunes of Pensacola was the perfect sort of engagement session for this ocean-loving couple, and Leslie Hollingsworth Photography led them right through to a stunner of a sunset at Palafox Pier. There's nothing like a beautiful couple in a beautifully Floridian location to start the week off right!

Keeley and Graham met at an outdoor country music festival on what Keeley described as "possibly the hottest day of 2014. I had met a close friend of his the day before who had told Graham he needed to meet me. He walked up in the middle of a group of girls and completely butchered the pronunciation of my name. Poor guy! Needless to say, it worked in his favor and we've been together since."

“The beach holds so much significance to us as a couple.”

The two spent most of their first summer together as a couple on beach and in the ocean, with Graham being an avid offshore fisherman and teaching Keeley to love the sport as well. This past May, the two took a trip down to Destin with Graham's family, which Keeley thought was just routine - but, of course, there was more in store: "The first morning we were there Graham got up really early and told me I would need to get ready because we were taking family pictures on the beach. All of which was just his ploy to make sure I looked decent for any pictures that were taken of our engagement."

We went down to the water with his family and while waiting on the rest of his family to come down, he asked if we could take a walk. We always look for shells or any odd creatures on our walk, so it was nothing out of the ordinary when we came back and his aunt ask if we found any shells. We hadn't but I did notice a very large shell below my feet. I bent over to pick it up and found a black velvet box underneath it. I looked up to find Graham on one knee, asking if I would be his wife. It was so special for us to have his family there with us at our favorite place for such a special moment.

We asked Keeley what they were most looking forward to on the big day: "I would say we are most excited about having all the people we care most about in one place for our special night. We have the best friends and family in the world, so being able have them all in one room will be so special for us."
