Sweet Valentine Inspired Looks | Dress for the Wedding

Hello, Bayside Beauties! I hope the month of February is finding you smitten with something or someone! In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’ve decided to up the romantic factor of this month’s †post. I have some lovely lilac and lavender bridal inspiration for you, a gentlemen wearing pink, a hot pink hottie, and a little lady. Let’s get started!

Lavender Bridal Look to Love

I thought this After Six Wedding Dress was so lovely with the all-over lace look, so I chose it as the starting point for this romantic bridal style with a touch of lavender and lilac. I’ve been obsessed with that peony and lilac bouquet in the left hand corner ever since I spied it on Pinterest, and I wanted to make this look an ode to that. I chose pale pinky-purple accents like the stunning chandelier earrings and delicate lilac shoes. Lavender is supposed to be calming, and this look certainly is easy-on-the-eyes. Wouldn’t this be beautiful for a springtime bride?

Gentlemen’s Look to Love: Navy and Pink

Real men wear pink, or so I’ve heard — which is why I’m making this gentleman wear a little! This is a preppy navy and pink combination that could work for a groom, groomsman, or a guest. I like it with a formal white shirt like the one shown on the model if it’s for a member of a wedding party, but I included the lovely lilac shirt to make this a little less formal to work for a guest look, too. The elegant dark navy suit keeps this masculine enough for any gent. Who knows, maybe your fellow will don this to take you out a Valentine’s Day date?

Guest Look to Love: Hot Pink Valentine

Meet this hot pink hottie; her Halston dress had me at hello! I get people searching this question on my blog a lot : Can I wear pink to a winter wedding?†My answer is yes, †if it’s an appropriate fabric and a deeper shade of pink or a hot pink like this. I added some shades of purple and gold, which brings even more color while softening the†intensity†of the hot pink look. The†asymmetrical†lines and pleats on this dress make it show-stopping for a wedding guest or just to go out with a sweet someone on February 14th.

Lovely Junior Maid: Pretty in Pink

Our final look to love is this sweet junior bridesmaid. When I was planning my wedding I found it so hard to find something appropriate for a junior bridesmaid age range, but I think this pretty Alfred Sung dress would make any little lady happy! This little halter dress is modest, but still very special and fun for a young lady attendant to wear. I gave her some earrings, some flat shoes (they could be low heels if she’s on the older side, and mom says it’s ok) a fun purse, and hot pink bow to wear in her hair. Adorable!

In this month of love, I hope you think these looks are lovable and sweet!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all you Bayside Beloveds!

XO
