Everyone loves a beautiful, natural backdrop…and who doesn’t love wine? This beautiful couple took the gorgeous, scenic background of the Raphael Vineyard and turned it into the wedding of their dreams. With beautiful pops of harvest colors this wedding shot by Roberto Falck has left us dreaming of a cool fall day…and a nice bottle of wine! Take a peek!
Monika wore a beautiful strapless, satin Sposabella Demetrios gown with a lace up back and a pleated bodice. She accessorized with t-strap, Swarovski crystal GLINT shoes and a cathedral veil with Swarovski crystals sewn onto the entire edge of the veil.
Anthony wore a charcoal grey Vera Wang tuxedo with a grey vest…he and his groomsmen later changed into purple plaid Hugo Boss bow ties and suspenders for the reception to feel a little more relaxed!
The ceremony took place at the Raphael Vineyard grounds overlooking the vineyard. ”We considered it a destination wedding,” said Monika. ”We chose the site because Anthony and I love wine and the vineyards.” With two wine barrels at the altar and giant terracotta potted bouquets of flowers, the setting for their vows was earthy, rustic, and beautiful. The pops of orange in the flowers played off the vineyard’s natural colors perfectly!
The bridesmaids looked beautiful in stone colored dresses by Jim Hjelm with the groomsmen wearing chocolate vests that pulled everything together! The neutral tones were a perfect complement to the vibrant colors of the vineyard itself.
With a vineyard as your backdrop, how could you not pull the natural colors into the decor? Monika and Anthony used candles flower filled vases to decorate their reception. With great natural lighting and a simple color scheme inside, the reception looked clean and fresh!
The Raphael Vineyard provided all catering including this classic looking cake! The cake was a three tiered chocolate and red velvet cake with buttercream frosting and a monogram of “D” in the center! {Looks delicious!}
