While I would love to be able to give the guy all of the credit for this incredible proposal, it just so happens that the lady also had a hand in this beautifully styled picnic! When Manolo decided that he wanted to propose to his beautiful girlfriend, Whitney, he decided to redeem a coupon for an indoor picnic that Whitney had given to him awhile back. Well, Whitney went all out for this special date, putting all of her creativity and crafting skills to work. This also served as the perfect distraction for Manolo to surprise Whitney!
"It was his perfect plan for me to be so wrapped up in planning my own surprise 'indoor picnic' for him, that I was completely unaware of the fact that he was also planning something very special -- our engagement. I walked into his apartment to find it completely transformed into a romantic, rustic and oh-so-cozy indoor picnic spot, complete with a photo timeline of our relationship. I slowly made my way down the timeline, and when I got to the end it said, 'Engagement,' ... I turned around and Manolo was already on his knee holding out a ring."
On the relationship photo timeline that Manolo created, he also left a place at the end of the timeline for where their wedding photo would go, with a hand drawn empty picture frame. He had Whitney write "Our wedding," in the blank space as a nod to their future together. So sweet, so creative and kind of perfect to share on Valentine's Day, don't you think?
