What is better than a trail? A connected network of trail 240 miles of trails! The Carolina Thread Trail includes paved greenways, natural surface wilderness trails, and blueways (or water paths) in 15 counties in North and South Carolina. It connects cities, attractions and people all over the region. 
The proposed system would connect 1,500 mile of trail and 40 destinations. This dream is made possible by the dedication of organizations, individuals, and corporate supporters.
If you are one of the lucky 2.3 million people close by, we hope you’ll advantage of this amazing network. Get outside, enjoy it, and do your part to get involved!
