About M&M Outfitters
We became Denver Tent clients38 years ago, starting with two 16 x 20 wall tents and have grown to a six tent camp at present time – three 16 x 20 sleep tents; one 16 x 30 chow tent; one 14 x 17 cooks’ tent; and one 10 x 12 shower tent.
The tents have 5 foot walls and allow us to use all the tent space. We have wood stoves (barrel type) with carpet on the floor and are very comfortable. They are all as comfy as a cabin with the real back-country camp look.
Too much comfort in a Denver Tent to make it to the outhouse in time
I had one hunter that said if the tent wasn’t so damn comfortable he would have made it to the outhouse and wouldn’t have had such a wreck — couldn’t even save the socks.
Adventures continue with Colorado Tent Company
I started out with Denver Tent Company and was satisfied with the tents so when Denver Tent Company became Colorado Tent Company, I stayed with Colorado Tent Company as they were always good tents.
The elk camp goes up the last week in August and comes down the middle of November every year for 38 years. Other camps have consisted of week long turkey hunts in eastern Montana, four day steelhead trips in Idaho, and week long spring bear hunts. The tents have even been used for wedding receptions and family reunions.
