The German trance stalwart takes full advantage of this strength on his newest two-tracker, Tyrion, which has just landed on the label he runs, Maracaido Records. The titular cut is an uplifting beacon of light that sees him refracting emotionally charged melodies through a euphoric lens throughout its seven-minute duration. Softly waddling synths help set the mood, gradually building into an explosion in the sky made of lofty chord progressions and subtle drums. It follows Speed’s secret recipe for inciting those arms-extended-to-the-stars moments on the dancefloor.
